THE LIFE OF A REALTOR

When I watched the real estate shows it looked so glamorous and easy. Show a home, sell the home, collect a commission. This is also the general attitude towards brokers held by the public. We are listed somewhere between used car salesmen and a snake's belly (not sure which comes first) on the list of things you trust. This is possibly why our clients don't confide in us. They hide the whole truth about why they are asking for your help in buying or renting a home. I refuse to become cynical. I am glad I don't need to make a living at this. The young people in the office put up with so much garbage. In a couple of months I will be in California for the winter leaving my realty world behind. We'll try to visit as many of our CA friends as possible. We will have 6 months this winter.
